- Get a pair of small mustache style scissors
- Clip back the rest of your hair out of your way
- Use your fingers to gently hold a small section of your bangs, just about twelve hairs at one time. Hold these down against your forehead and trim the hairs that are just below your fingers, using your fingers as a guide so you do not cut too much.
- When you finish each little section, comb it back into the clip you have holding the rest of your hair, check length and go on to the next part.
- When finished, comb all of your bangs down and check for any stragglers

How to Straighten Your Hair
If you have curly or wavy hair, sometimes you might want to straighten it and wear a different style. Some people with curly hair straighten theirs on a regular basis. Wash and condition your curly hair as usual and blot until nearly dry. Gather your hair into several separate sections and clip out of the way a top your head. You are going to dry the bottom layers of your hair first. Take the dryer in hand and follow the brush as you go down each section of hair. Do this for each layer until your hair is completely dried and straightened. Be sure to condition your hair often, for blow drying can dry it out.
Brushing Long Hair Properly
It is important to take care when brushing your long hair, for rough handling of hair can cause damage and breakage. Start at the top of your head and brush down, carefully working through any snarls or tangles. After each stroke, smooth your hair with your hands in order to cut down on the static electricity. Brush hair only when it is dry, for wet hair is weak and damages very easily.
